Designated and announced with 1.949㎢ in size on January 20, 1990, the Gobok Natural Park is famous for its driving course in spring and is a popular place for fishermen as its reservoir has a variety of fish species such as snakehead and carp. Major facilities include the Minrakjeong Pavilion, the Yeongi Battle Monument Park and an outdoor pool. The Yeongi Battle Monument Park displays about 20 pieces of sculpture works. As a waterside deck has been recently built near the reservoir, the park is frequently visited by local residents, and is emerging as a new tourist attraction.
As there is a variety of popular restaurants serving fish stew and spare ribs near the Gobok Natural Park, you can enjoy tasty dishes as well as beautiful scenery.
